Accessing GreenShield services online

For retired members who are currently enroled in extended health and/or dental benefits through GreenShield


On August 7, 2024, GreenShield+ will replace the current GreenShield platform, GSC everywhere. Here is information on how to set up your account.

If you already have an online account, you can sign in using your existing credentials.

If you haven’t created an online account, please follow the instructions below to access our online services. You will need your plan member ID to create your account.

  1. Go to app.greenshieldplus.ca
  2. Click on the Sign Up button.
  3. Choose Through an employer or organization and then click Continue.
  4. Select I have a plan member ID. Your plan member ID can be found on your benefits card.
  5. Enter your email address and click Continue.
  6. Check your email for a 6-digit verification code and enter it on the website.
  7. On the Details page, enter your personal information and click Continue.
  8. On the Dependent Information page, enter the total number of dependents on your plan and the birth date of one of your dependents (if applicable), then click Continue. If you have no dependents, you can select that you have none or enter 0.
  9. On the Create New Password page, enter the password you would like to use for your account, then select Continue.
  10. Finally, click Sign In to access your account.
