Extended health care plan premiums
The Teachers' Pension Board of Trustees reviews the premiums for extended health care each fall. This assessment may result in changes to your premiums the following year.

As of January 1, 2025: Changes to your extended health care plan improve coverage for vision care, hearing care and paramedical services. Changes are also being made to prescription drugs and some reasonable and customary limits (the maximum amount reimbursed for each claim for a service or item) for certain practitioners and medical equipment.
